Goronson Farm Labyrinth Dedication
Friday June 3rd, 3-6 PM (Rain Date Saturday June 4th, 3-6 PM) 1 Henrikson Road, Scarborough, Maine
Join the Goronson Farm in Scarborough in dedicating the farm’s new meditative labyrinth. Constructed right before winter, the labyrinth is now ready to welcome you. Our intention is to honor the ancient fir tree in the center and allow the energy of the natural surroundings and this archetypal symbol to bring people peace and joy.
The event will start with a farm tour and then a short talk about what labyrinths are and how to make use of this meditative space with Maine-based labyrinth designer Yadina Clark. Then we will walk the labyrinth together. Afterwards we’ll plant the labyrinth with a selection of medicinal herbs and perennials.
At the end each guest will take home some of Goronson Farm’s certified-organic vegetable or flower seedlings for their own gardens to commemorate the event.
Tickets are $10 each. 16+ only. Complimentary hot & cold beverages and Goronson Farm-to-table snacks by Chef Alex will be served.
